The room size and the nature of your listening (volume you listen to, material you listen to) are really in my opinion the factor to consider (other than budgetary). I use it for my audio and visual merged system and listen and watch hours and hours a day with no fatigue and sincere involvement and enjoyment. I moved to the Torii Mk III because it really does have almost the same sonic signature as the Integrated amp and gobs of headroom and 'ease' for me in my living-room dining room system with the ERRs. This would be my choice of amp if I had a small enough space to utilize it with the speakers I've fallen in love with and won't do without, the Decware ERR speakers. The Integrated has a slightly warmer, slightly more forgiving sound. They can sound really good, but their short-comings are right there, and some may enjoy listening for hours and hours like this more than others.

Mediocre and bad recordings (which I admit account for more than three-quarters of my collection) have nowhere to hide. They sound fantastic with sonic blockbuster recordings. The 2 watt amps are actually ruthlessly revealing. I think with your speakers in a medium to large room for some material you'd want the Integrated, the 2 watt amps may run out of steam on some material. I've had the original 2 watt (the 27th amp built), the 'Select' 2 watt amp, a pair of 5 watt E元4 Monoblocks no longer offered, the 5 watt Integrated, and I now have in daily use the 25 watt Torii Mk II, and the 25 watt Torii Mk III. I've been using Decware amps as my amplification since '97.
